The Best Valentine’s Gift Ever
My Valentine’s weekend is off to a great start and it can only get better. So, humbly I had been intentional in preparing for this day! Another day of giving, another day of being HIP! #BeHIP
Yes it was a gift of ‘giving’, a gift of being ‘intentional’ a gift of service.
I learned long ago that I cannot save the world, so I decided early to work within my circle of influence - and trust the power of the ‘ripple effect’ in every action executed. One day at a time, reaching one need at a time, is all I’m asking of you Dear Lord.
So as I walk daily, I see them, I hear them, I feel them and so in my own simple modest way, I thought I’d bless them with a ‘bag ‘o’ love ❤️ ‘ for Valentines.
Mask + Sanitizer + box of chocolate + snack bars + a hot breakfast sandwich + a $5 bill + a note of encouragement and a Bible verse = Making someone’s day!
Lord, but for your Grace that could so be me! Help me to continue to see through the circumstances and state, and see the heart, the soul, the eyes of appreciation and hope!
May the small gestures of love and service, grow into large blessings for each life touched, each mouth fed, each heart that cares!
Happy Valentine’s Day (weekend) to all, who regardless of status or circumstance are made homeless even for a night! Be strong in the Lord and in his might ‘cause Joy will come in the morning. You may not know the way, or even how to pray but we got you...we’ll interceded on your behalf because at the end of the day...it’s all love, even a little bag ‘o’ love! ❤️
